Sacramento Millworks is a family owned company based out of Sacramento. It was founded by Raymond Mathison with the expressed goal to put the individual skills of master craftsmen at the center of the company. During the housing boom from 1991 to late 2006, many construction companies sprung up or expanded to fill the need for new homes. Unfortunately, most of these companies were so specialized to the product they were providing that the art behind the craft was lost. Experienced and skilled tradesmen were no longer valued, and the value was placed on how fast a job could be completed. Sacramento Millworks is different; we have structured our shop in such a way that we are able to build your project to the exact needs you have. |
We do not focus on volume but on people. Our mission is to leave you happy with your home or office, and be able to walk into your newly created space and experience happiness at the finished product. And finally, we love what we do and would love the opportunity to prove that to you. |

| We Focus on People A home is the most valuable possession most of us will ever own, and taking the step to build or change your home or office is not a step you take lightly and we respect that. We work with you to create the space you want, and I urge you when choosing a contractor think about why they are there. Are they there because they are truly passionate about what they do? Do they respect your time and the inconvenience they are causing you? Do they truly understand that you will be living with their work for the next 20 or 30 years?
